About Cornerstone

Cornerstone Christian Counseling is a division of Amistad Family Services, Inc. which was founded in July of 2011. Amistad’s legacy was built largely on our faithfulness to the importance and power of relationships; specifically, the security found in safe, stable, loving interactions. This can be conceptualized as a rock; steady and stable, helping our clients and children weather the storms of life. The bible says Christ Jesus himself is our Corner Stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed. (Eph. 2:20-22, 1 Peter 2:4-8, and Isaiah 19-13). Cornerstone Christian Counseling will strive to minister to those who are seeking the safety, security and unconditional love that comes when we allow Christ to be our foundation. He is the rock to help us weather the storm and the firm foundation to stand on as we set off to explore on our own.
